Class descriptions
We have a class for every fitness ability, goal and availability.
Met-Con
A higher intensity workout, during your Met-Con class you can expect to do a wide variety of exercises all aimed at building a more efficient energy system. Met-Con is a firm favourite as you can't help but finish the class and feel like you have achieved something, results are really visible to see after just a few weeks too. If you're looking to improve your stamina and general fitness this programme is a great choice.
Small Group PT
A little secret though is that unless you are carrying severe injuries - most people don’t actually need 1-2-1 Personal Training - Our Small group PT delivers something that gives all of the benefits of having a 1-2-1 Personal Trainer but with the added benefits of paying less, and enjoying your journey with similar positive and motivated people on a similar path.
We create your own plan. We select exercises to your ability. Everything we do in a session is adjusted to you - you simply share the session time with up to 4 other people.
FIT
A workout based around the foundations of fitness, I learned this method of training from one of my mentors and elite strength and conditioning coach Tom Crudginton, Tom has used this method with Elite level athletes who have competed for world level titles and won, if it's good enough for them it's good enough for us. The programme goal is to build your strength and fitness with foundational exercises, it's also a great way to mark fitness levels on a regular basis. This session is a favourite for all but really suits beginners because of its multi level progressions, meaning it's perfect for beginners to advance.
Full Body Conditioning
Our functional fitness programme helps to develop skills, strength and endurance. We cover many different types of intervals and methods, we also use a wide range of different kit including our Concept 2 cardio conditioning kit. Full body conditioning has a great amount of variety, plus always finishes with a different conditioning workout of the week, plus every 4 weeks we end with a little bit of testing.
Kettlebells
Learn the foundations of kettlebells, using them effectively to build real muscle, real strength and real endurance. Our Strong first instructor teaches kettlebells levels above the rest and is world class. This is on forms speciality.
Boxing Fitness
Boxing for fitness is a skill based conditioning session, you will use pads or bags to work on Footwork, Punch technique or defensive movements. We also add in boxing specific cardio, strength training and core to break the combinations up. This session is a packed session and really burns some serious calories. It is such a fun session that we have huge passion for at On form though, so expect an excited coach during Boxing for fitness!
1-2-1 PT
Personal training is our premium service and nearly always leads to faster and longer lasting results, great amounts of motivation that lasts and helps to reduce the mistakes that are made in your health and fitness journey.
Your personal trainer is there to set the reps, sets, exercises and help with things you do outside of the gym, all things that are personal to you and your journey & ability! Plus ensure you're doing exercise safely and effectively.
Full Weights
Lifting weights for muscle growth/Toning results isn't as easy as throwing weights around for as many reps as you can before failure, we need to have effective rep ranges, that requires correct weights being selected, we also need control and effective technique and programming. Don't worry we cover all this. In full body weights, we show you how to get stronger and grow muscle.
